Doctors & Staff

Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Liberty Lake Eye Care Center the leading provider of vision care products and services in Liberty Lake.

Dr. Bret A. Ulrich, OD

Dr. Bret A. Ulrich, OD started the practice in February 2000, in its current location at the Liberty Lake Medical Center. Previous to starting the practice, Dr. Ulrich successfully completed a residency at the Wilkes-Barre Veterans Administration Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He then settled in Spokane with his wife, Lori, and daughters Cheryl and Chelsea, and began working in North Spokane at a private clinic. After several years, Amy was born. Dr. Ulrich’s special interests are working with patients with neurological diseases, glaucoma and dry eyes. Children’s eye and vision services have become an important part of the Liberty Lake practice also. The doctor is an avid fly fisher, works with leather,  enjoys mountain biking, and time spent with his family and 3 grandchildren.   His community involvement includes: Kiwanis Club of Liberty Lake, PTA, Trout Unlimited and his church. He is an active member of the Inland Society of the Optometric Physicians of Washington. The practice is truly community based with most of our patients coming a short distance from their home or workplace in Liberty Lake.
